Things to check before you call…
If the dryer is not turning on or not heating up, the power source should be checked. Make sure it’s plugged in and there are no breaker or fuse problems.
If the dryer is making strange noises, check for loose items or change in the drum.
If clothes are taking too long to dry, check the lint filter. The lint filter should be cleaned after every load. Lint can also be trapped in the vent as well. There are many different places lint can hide, such as between the drum and the filter. The dryer vent can also become restricted with lint and not only cause dryer performance problems but also be a fire hazard.
